The Upper Keys

With a maximum elevation of six feel above sea level, the Upper Keys boasts some of the most mireaculious vistas of the islands! While you wont need an oxygen mask to reach the summit, you may want to at least grab a snorkle to chek out the rest. The Upper Keys are all about diving reefs and fishing...well, the reefs.
Where Do We Eat?
Islmarada Fish Company Hit up this outdoor eatery either on your way in, on your way out, or whenever you find yourself in Islmarada. Settle in at the huge bar with live music and feed the tarpon while you wait for your meal. I typically never get my mahi blackened, but i always do here!
Lazy Days The name says it all. Enjoy five star service and food while wearing sandles and board shorts.
What Do We do?
The Upper Keys are all about getting out and getting active. While you can snorkle, dive, or fish just about anywhere in the islands, it seems that the best of it all is loacted in the Islmarada area. Here are some of our favorite acivities in the Upper Keys.
Swim with the dolphins at the Dolphin Research Center on Grassy Key or Theater of the Sea in Islmarada.
Hire a full or half day private deep water charter, or rent a boat and hit the shallows. There's a reason Islmarada is known to host the best fishing on earth.

Grab your camera and hit the nature trails winding through this beautiful state park located in the central Key Largo area. Spend an hour or a whole day experiencing the south Florida glades much in the same manner of early Spanish explorers.
